The Stopaq Subsea Corrosion Prevention Putty is a compound suitable for corrosion prevention of steel objects fully or partially submerged in water. The putty stays permanently viscous at minus20 degrees Celsius up to + 35 degrees Celsius. The subsea compound does not cure and is unable to build up internal stresses. The putty has no mechanical resistant and therefore always needs to be covered with a mechanical protective layer such as Stopaq Outer Glass.
